I live in the North East of England with my 2 pugs and husband. I work full time for a communications company and I am battling chronic illness. I have a huge passion for helping others who are struggling to cope with Bladder illness and I love raising awareness for the 'Forgotten' Stoma - The Urostomy. 

I have struggled with bladder health most of my life with what the doctors thought were reoccurring infections however later on in life I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis also known as Painful Bladder Syndrome. 

After struggling for a total of 12 years I lost my bladder in February 2022 due to significant damage and I now live with a permanent Stoma Called a Urostomy.

I have so much to share with others in the same situation and feel that my story may help others be at peace or at least provide some clarity to their situation if they're feeling confused and lost.
